I am trying to animate my bulleted text using the same look as the
microsoft powerpoint 2007 on the web at this link:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint/HA101672691033.aspx

It is a very cool animation but I don;t quite know how to do it all.
Do any of you know how it is done. I would like to use this effect for
all my bullted text

Thanks so much

Are you referring to the bullet animation created in flash?
Yes, it looks cool, but won't be easy to replicate.

This is the steps for the main effect you saw:
First, you will need to have a dotted ring (circle with no fill, square dot
line).
Then add Entrance > Grow & Turn effect. (Under Slide Show > Custom Animation)

Now, add a ring (circle with no fill).
Add Emphasis > Transparency 75%, move it to the top.
Add Entrace > Grow & Turn effect. Set to With Previous so that it comes in
together with the dotted ring.
Add Emphasis > Grow/Shrink (120%), set it to after previous.
Add Exit > Fade effect. Set it to With Previous.

Set all the effects to Speed: Very Fast.

Thank you so much, I will see what I can do. Can you suggest a resolution
size in photoshop to create the dotted circle, and I assume I should do it on
a transparent background.

It can be done in PowerPoint alone. Create a circle, double click on the
circle, then format accordingly.

VBA to VB.Net code Help PowerPoint Hello all, I am an absolute beginner to VB and trying to write a one simple code. My issue is I wrote a working code to automate an animation within powerpoint i.e VBA and need to transfer it to a user form in VB2008 so simple button click will open ppt and perform the following actions. The code to open powerpoint with a blank side and apply the ppt object library isnt a problem, just a Shapes.AddShape(msoShapeRectangle, 104.88, 326.75, 198.38, 102#) With shp1 .Name = "Zone1" .Fill.Transparency = 1# .Line.Visible = msoFalse .Height = 141.75 .Width = 141.75 End With With ActivePresentation.Slides Visible = msoTrue .Line.ForeColor.SchemeColor = ppForeground .Line.BackColor.RGB = RGB(255, 255, 255) End With PowerPoint Discussions COMException (1) ShapeRange (1) PowerPoint (1) PageSetup (1) Shapes (1) Office (1) Error (1) EventArgs (1) I do not use your code to open PPT etc. Presumably it is getting an object reference to the PowerPoint app and presentation, and most likely the code below needs to be modified to work with that object reference; right now, it is written to run within PowerPoint. Many thanks for your input Steve. I have the same question posted on VBforums but
